President’s Day weekend can be long in the Puget Sound area, but not if you have friends, snacks and activities! Grab your coat and your kids and plan some play dates! Keep away the mid-winter break blues!

Come learn about one of the coolest creatures in Puget Sound, the giant Pacific octopus. Each day will feature hands-on activities for kids, octopus feedings and talks. And at 12:00pm each day, divers will swim with an octopus in the Window on Washington Waters exhibit.

During Kids ‘n’ Critters, up to four children, ages 12 and younger, will receive FREE admission to Northwest Trek with every paying adult or senior. Special Kids ‘n’ Critters activities are free with admission all weekend and include nature-themed arts and crafts and trailside encounters. Tram seating is limited to the first 1,500 visitors. All trams are 30-minute tours during Kids ‘n’ Critters.
